Youth & Play - What We've Been Up To in 2008

  • It's All In The Packing
The freestylers youth dance group are raising money for training tracksuits, which will have their name and logo embroidered on them. They started their fundraising on Saturday 14th July by bag packing at Asda's Tonypandy. All their hard work paid of and they raised over £200, well done everyone! The freestylers take part in a number of community events and competitions where their hard work, dedication and enthusiasm shows. They meet every Tuesday at the Waun Wen Community, Trebanog from 6:30pm. The group still have over £300 to raise and are eager for anyone to get in touch with fundraising ideas or willing to sponsor their new kit

  • May Madness - Half Term Fun Days

The days were split into 2 sessions with under 11's from 12-2pm and over 11's 3-5pm

  • Cymmer's Got The X Factor
Cymmer Communities First would like to congratulate its young people for showcasing their talents at a local community talent show on Sunday 15th June 2008. Even though it was Fathers Day, the young people still got involved and delivered and excellent display of our local talent. Participating in the show were local dance groups and singers. Were organising another show and would love more performers to become involved; if you would like to take part in this event then please contact the office and leave your details
